About the role

The District Education Office (Hub) is inviting applications for teaching positions at BPS-17 for multiple subject posts. Selected candidates will join the school cadre under the District Education Office and will be appointed against the advertised subject vacancies. Candidates will be evaluated on academic qualification and merit as described below.

Eligibility

Primary qualification: BS / MSc in the relevant subject (for example, BS/MSc in Mathematics for the Mathematics post; BS/MSc in Chemistry for the Chemistry post).

In case of non-availability of candidates with BS/MSc in Mathematics for the Mathematics post, BS/MSc in Physics will be considered and vice versa within the same Union Council; preference will be given to candidates with the specified subject.

In case of non-availability of candidates with BS/MSc in Chemistry for the Chemistry post, BS/MSc in Biology will be considered and vice versa within the same Union Council; preference will be given to candidates with the specified subject.

Merit marks calculation and weightage for final selection:

- Matriculation (SSC): 20 marks - Intermediate (HSSC): 20 marks - Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in relevant subject: 50 marks - Additional marks: MPhil / MS in relevant subject = 8 marks; PhD in relevant subject = 10 marks - Total merit marks = 100
