About the role
The Government of Sindh's Livestock and Fisheries Department, Poultry Wing, is recruiting staff through the Office of the Deputy Director Poultry Production, District Umerkot. These initial appointments cover BPS-01 to BPS-04 posts reflected in the budget for financial year 2026–27.
Recruitment follows the Sindh High Court, Circuit Court Mirpurkhas, order dated 19 May 2026 and the Cabinet decision dated 1 December 2025, communicated by the Services, General Administration and Coordination Department on 3 December 2025.
The vacancies are on a purely temporary basis, with permanent appointment after completion of the probation period under the Sindh Services (Appointment, Promotion and Transfer) Rules, 1973.

The number of vacancies may be increased or decreased at any stage. Candidates will have no right to challenge a change in the number of vacancies.
Eligibility
Applicants must hold domicile of District Umerkot. The age range for all three posts is 18–28 years. General relaxation of five years in the upper age limit is admissible under the Government of Sindh policy communicated through the notification dated 6 March 2025.
Government-prescribed quotas will apply, including 5% for differently abled persons, 15% for women, 5% for minorities and 0.5% for transgender applicants. Applicants already serving in government must apply through their respective departments through the proper channel.
Any attempt to canvass will lead to disqualification. Only eligible, shortlisted candidates will be called for a test or interview. No travel or daily allowance will be paid for attending the interview.

Complete the application in the prescribed format and submit it during office hours to the Office of the Deputy Director Poultry Production, near the Superintendent of Police (SSP) Office, District Umerkot.
Attach two passport-size photographs and attested copies of academic qualification documents, CNIC, domicile, PRC (Form-D), driving licence and experience certificate, where required.
The application form asks for the post applied for; quota category, including General, differently abled persons, women, minorities or transgender; applicant's name; father's name; CNIC number; date of birth; qualification; union council; district domicile; postal address; mobile number; signature; and date. Paste two recent passport-size photographs in the designated space.
