About the role
Gujranwala Electric Power Company Limited (GEPCO) invites applications from candidates domiciled in Balochistan for engineering and management positions through National Testing Service (NTS). GEPCO is an electric utility serving more than 5.1 million consumers.
Appointments will be on contract with a lump-sum pay package, initially for three years. Contracts may be extended subject to satisfactory performance. These contractual appointments will not be regularized at any stage. Selected candidates will perform duties within GEPCO's jurisdiction. GEPCO is an equal opportunity employer.

GEPCO may increase or decrease the number of posts according to its requirements. It also reserves the right to withhold or cancel recruitment for any or all posts at any stage without assigning a reason.
Eligibility
Junior Engineer (Electrical) / SDO: BE or BS in Electrical Engineering, specializing in Power or Electronics, with at least 60% marks or a 2.5 CGPA from an HEC-recognized university. Registration with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) is required. Candidates must be capable of operating computers, particularly Windows, email and Microsoft Office. Candidates without PEC registration are not eligible for this post.
Assistant Manager (CS) / Revenue Officer (RO): MBA, M.Com, MSc Computer Sciences, or MSc/MA in Statistics, Mathematics or Economics, with at least two first divisions in the academic career. Candidates must be capable of operating computers, particularly Windows and Microsoft Office.
Assistant Manager (Material Management): MBA, M.Com, MSc Computer Sciences, or MSc/MA in Statistics, Mathematics or Economics, with at least two first divisions in the academic career. Candidates must be capable of operating computers, particularly Windows and Microsoft Office.
Assistant Manager (MIS/IT): A master's degree or equivalent, with at least 60% marks, in Computer Science, Information Technology or Computer Software Engineering, or a four-year/eight-semester honours degree in computer sciences from an HEC-recognized institute.
Only applicants holding a valid Balochistan domicile certificate are eligible. Candidates must have 16 years of education in the relevant discipline, recognized by HEC. Applicants whose results or transcripts use CGPA must obtain results or transcripts showing percentage marks from their HEC-recognized institution or university before applying.
The stated age limits already include five years of general relaxation. Candidates belonging to scheduled castes and Buddhists are allowed an additional three years of relaxation. Government, WAPDA and DISCO employees who have completed two years of continuous service by the application closing date may apply up to the age of 43 years.
Applicants must have completed the required qualifications by the closing date. Candidates awaiting results, or whose final transcript, degree, domicile or other certificates have not been issued by that date, will not be considered.
Serving government employees should apply through the proper channel. At interview, they must provide a departmental No Objection Certificate stating their appointment date and the nature of their employment, such as regular or contractual service.
Dismissed or screened-out employees of any organization, and candidates with a criminal record, are not eligible. Clearance of candidates' character and antecedents from the relevant agencies or police is mandatory.
How to apply
Read the application instructions on the NTS website and apply online at J92LINK0X. Submit a separate application for each post if applying for more than one position. Applications delivered by hand to GEPCO or NTS, or submitted by courier, will not be accepted.
The total test fee is Rs. 540. Candidates must pay Rs. 270, representing 50% of the fee, with their completed application. GEPCO will pay the remaining Rs. 270 directly to NTS under its agreement. Pay the candidate's share to NTS through 1Link 1Bill participating banks, ATM, internet banking, mobile banking, Easypaisa, JazzCash or TCS Express Counters.
Incomplete applications, applications containing incorrect information, and applications received after the deadline will not be entertained. Concealment or misrepresentation of facts at any stage will lead to disqualification from the current recruitment and future GEPCO recruitment tests or examinations.
Only qualified and eligible candidates may take the written test. Candidates shortlisted on merit under the applicable recruitment policy will be called for interview. No travel or daily allowance will be paid for the test or interview. Bring original documents and one set of attested photocopies at the time of interview or joining service.
NTS will upload roll number slips showing the test centre, timing and test date at least one week before the test. Candidates will also receive information through the email address and mobile number supplied in their applications. Check the NTS website regularly for the test schedule, updates and results.
