About the role

Ayub Medical College (MTI-ATH), Abbottabad is recruiting contract chairpersons, faculty across clinical and basic sciences, and administrative staff. All appointments are on a contract basis under the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa MTI Act 2015, MTI-ATH rules and MTI Policy Board regulations. Initial contracts are for three years and are renewable subject to satisfactory performance. Selected medical faculty will be offered IPS grade/scale as per MTI-ATH Abbottabad policy; special salary packages may be offered for certain posts.

Eligibility

• Chairpersons: MBBS or equivalent recognized by PMDC plus a higher qualification (for example FCPS, FRCA, MRCP, preferably with CCT) or US Board Certification or equivalent level III qualification in the relevant specialty, with valid PMDC registration. Minimum of seven years' experience as a faculty member in a recognized institution. Evidence of scholarly activity and teaching experience is required.

• Faculty posts (Professor / Associate / Assistant Professor): Qualifications, experience and publication requirements will follow MTI Policy Board Regulations/Criteria. PMDC eligibility certificate and PMDC registration are mandatory and must be submitted with the application where applicable. Upon selection, candidates will be placed at the appropriate faculty level.

• Manager Security: Bachelor degree (preference to first division). Preference for retired officers of at least the rank of Major or equivalent from armed forces/police; minimum 5 years' experience as Security Incharge in a leading institution; demonstrated knowledge of security management, risk evaluation, policy and SOP development.

• Assistant Manager Security: Bachelor degree (preference to first division). For armed forces/police: retired officer at minimum rank of Major or equivalent with at least 3 years' experience as Assistant Security Incharge. For civilians: minimum 5 years' experience as Security Supervisor/Incharge in a reputable institution.

• Pre Auditor: MBA (Finance) or M.Com or CA (inter), ICMAP (inter) or ACCA (inter); up to 40 years of age; minimum three years' post-qualification experience in a reputable institution; audit experience preferred.

• Domicile: All Pakistan (where stated).
