About the role

Karachi Port Trust (KPT) invites applications for General Manager (IT), BPS-20. The appointment is on a two-year contract, which is extendable. Allowances are admissible under KPT rules.

Eligibility

Applicants must hold a master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or an equivalent discipline from a well-ranked institution recognized by the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan. They must have 15 years of experience in information technology development or management, including five years as Chief Information Executive of a reputed organization. Candidates with foreign qualifications and foreign experience will be preferred.

The five-year general age relaxation is already included in the age limit. Age relaxation for other categories will also apply under government instructions. Government servants must apply through the proper channel and produce a No Objection Certificate at the test or interview.
