Head of Sales & Marketing

About the role

Pakistan Machine Tool Factory (PMTF) invites applications from accomplished, visionary and results-oriented professionals to lead the company's Sales and Marketing function. The position is based in Karachi.

The Head of Sales & Marketing will be responsible for:

• Developing and implementing sales and marketing strategies aligned with the company's business objectives and growth plans.

• Identifying and developing new business opportunities in defense, industrial engineering, automotive, machinery, tooling and other relevant market segments.

• Building strong relationships with government departments, public-sector organizations, original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), industrial customers, distributors and strategic business partners.

• Leading business development initiatives, customer engagement, tender participation and the preparation of competitive commercial proposals.

• Developing and managing the sales pipeline, revenue forecasts, annual sales budgets and performance targets.

• Conducting market intelligence, competitor analysis and customer needs assessments to identify emerging opportunities.

• Negotiating commercial terms and closing business deals while ensuring profitability and customer satisfaction.

• Representing PMTF in business meetings, industry forums, exhibitions and customer engagements.

Eligibility

Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering or a relevant discipline. A master's degree in Business Administration or a relevant field will be preferred.

Applicants must have a minimum of 15 years of relevant professional experience, including substantial experience in sales, marketing and business development. Experience is preferred in engineering, manufacturing, industrial products, automotive, machinery or defense-related industries.
