Candidates must have passed both Matric and F.Sc, or O/A Level, with at least 60% marks, with Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry as their pre-engineering subjects.
Pre-medical students may also apply if they qualify in additional Mathematics in their F.Sc or A Level studies before 15 March 2027. O/A Level candidates must submit an IBCC equivalence certificate.
Candidates awaiting completion of F.Sc may apply with at least 65% marks in Part I. They must provide a hope certificate from the head of their college or institute and complete their F.Sc/HSSC-equivalent examination before 15 May 2027. Candidates applying with a hope certificate who subsequently fail to obtain 60% marks will be disqualified at any stage of selection or discharged during training.
