About the role

University of Balochistan, Quetta invites applications from accomplished, competent and visionary professionals for the position of Principal, University Law College, Quetta. The University Law College is a constituent college committed to academic excellence, professional development and the promotion of legal knowledge. The appointment will be made on a contract basis initially for a period of three (03) years, extendable for another term subject to satisfactory performance. Scale: BPS-20.

Eligibility

The candidate shall meet one of the following:

• Ph.D. in Law with 08 years law teaching experience or practice experience in a High Court; or

• Master's degree in Law with 15 years law teaching experience or practice experience in a High Court; or

• A retired Judge of the Supreme Court or a High Court; or

• A retired District and Sessions Judge having 05 years of judicial service to his credit.

Additional eligibility and conditions as stated:

• Experience certificates, duly reflecting the experience mentioned in the CV, must be attached with the application form.

• Applicants already in service must apply through proper channel and submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC) issued by their parent department by the due date.

• Candidates from all over Pakistan are eligible to apply.

• Canvassing in any form shall render the candidate liable to disqualification.

How to apply

1. Download the application form from the University of Balochistan website: www.uob.ac.pk.
2. Submit the complete application form along with all required documents and experience certificates in the Establishment Section, University of Balochistan.
3. A non-refundable application processing fee of Rs. 3,500/- must be deposited for each application either:
- via UoB Bank Challan (payable at HBL UoB Branch), or
- by Bank Demand Draft in favour of the Treasurer, University of Balochistan.
4. Applicants in service must apply through proper channel and provide an NOC from their parent department by the due date; applications without NOC will not be entertained.
5. Applications may be submitted personally or through post to the Establishment Section, University of Balochistan within the stipulated due date.
6. Incomplete applications, applications received after the due date, applications not fulfilling the minimum eligibility criteria, or submitted without the processing fee shall not be entertained.
7. Test and interview will be conducted at the University of Balochistan, Quetta. No TA/DA will be admissible.
