About the role

The Special Education Department invites applications for engagement of School Teaching Interns (STIs) against vacant teaching posts in Government Special Education Institutions of District Jhang and Toba Tek Singh. Engagement will be purely temporary, school-specific and non-transferable for a duration of 09 months (excluding summer vacations) during Financial Year 2026-27 or until regular incumbents arrive, whichever is earlier. Monthly honorarium is Rs. 45,000/- for BS-17 posts and Rs. 40,000/- for BS-16 posts. No right to regular appointment shall be conferred. Performance and attendance will be strictly monitored and engagement may be terminated on one month notice or payment in lieu thereof.

Eligibility

Fresh candidates with relevant Special Education qualifications are encouraged to apply; preference may be given to candidates with teaching experience. All aspiring candidates (men, women and transgender) are eligible to apply for STIs as per the published criteria. For all posts the age limit is 21–28 years. Relaxation in upper age limit is allowed for persons with disabilities (15 years on provision of valid Disability Certificate).

All applicants must submit a separate application for each post and each institute applied for.
