About the role
Defence Housing Authority City, Karachi (DHAC) invites applications for positions in its Security & Vigilance Directorate. Retired Armed Forces applicants must have an exemplary character and medical category AYE. Civilian candidates are also eligible for the Fireman position.
Posts and vacancies
- Security Supervisor: Matric or above; age up to 50 years; former Armed Forces personnel from the Army, Pakistan Navy or Pakistan Air Force.
- Security Guard: Matric or above; age 40–45 years; former Armed Forces non-commissioned officers or soldiers from the Army, Pakistan Navy or Pakistan Air Force. Former Civil Armed Forces personnel and former Airport Security Force or Anti-Narcotics Force soldiers are also eligible.
- Fireman: Matric or above; age 40–45 years; former Armed Forces soldiers from the Army, Pakistan Navy or Pakistan Air Force, and civilian candidates.
Eligibility
Fireman applicants must have a firefighting course qualification and five years of experience with a firefighting squad or fire tender. Preferred training includes the NBCD School at PNS Karsaz, the Unit Fire Safety Course at COD Karachi, or the Civil Defence Training School in Karachi.
