About the role

Pakistan Defence Officers Housing Authority (DHA), Karachi invites applications for Security Guard posts from retired Armed Forces personnel and civilians. Retired Armed Forces applicants must have an exemplary character and Medical Category AYE. Incentives include free food and free single accommodation.

Posts and vacancies

• Security Guard: For eligible former Armed Forces, Civil Armed Forces, ASF, ANF, Pakistan Police Services and DHA S&V security personnel.

• Security Guard (Civil Category): For civilians with security guard experience who meet the education and physical requirements.

Eligibility

Both categories require Matric or above.

For the Security Guard post, the age limit is up to 40 years. Eligible service backgrounds include former soldiers of the Army, Pakistan Navy and Pakistan Air Force; Civil Armed Forces personnel from FC, Rangers, PCG and DSF; former ASF or ANF soldiers; and former Pakistan Police Services personnel. Former DHA S&V Security Guards may apply up to the age of 55 years.

For Security Guard (Civil Category), applicants must be up to 30 years old and have at least two years of experience as a security guard in any organization. They must be physically fit and active, with a minimum height of 5 feet 6 inches.
