Eligibility

The recruitment is under the Balochistan quota. The stated age range is generally 18–35 years. For Sweeper, Carriage and Wagon, the stated range is 16–35 years.

Lower Division Clerk applicants need FA/FSc in the second division and a computer course. Women may apply for this post.

Assistant Driver applicants need Matric in the second division with a three-year mechanical diploma from a recognized government institute, or FSc in Pre-Engineering or ICS in the second division.

Telecommunications Technician applicants need Matric in the second division and a one-year diploma in the relevant field or trade from a recognized government institute. X-Ray Assistant applicants need Matric in the second division and a one-year certificate in radiology from a hospital. Women may also apply for the X-Ray Assistant post.

Wireman, Diesel Fitter, RTL Fitter, Power Van Fitter, Carpenter, Diesel Wireman/Electrician, Civil Carpenter, Civil Pipe Fitter and Switchboard Attendant applicants need Matric in the second division and a one-year diploma in the relevant trade from a recognized government institute. Electrical Examiner applicants need Matric in the second division and a one-year electrical diploma from a recognized government institute. Welder and Plant Attendant applicants need Matric in the second division and a relevant trade diploma from a recognized government institute.

The TCR G post requires FA/FSc in the second division. Nurse Daya, Store Issuer, Pointsman, electrical and mechanical helper posts, Carriage Cleaner, Signal Helper, Telecommunications Helper and Works Helper require Matric in the second division. Jeep Driver applicants also need a driving licence.

Gangman applicants need primary education and domicile of the relevant districts within Pakistan Railways' Quetta Division. Gatekeeper applicants need middle education and the same district domicile condition. Trolleyman applicants need middle education.

Waiting Room Bearer, Rest Room Bearer, Box Porter, Store Chowkidar, Rest Room Cook, Chowkidar, Naib Qasid and the sweeper posts require primary education.
