The Irrigation Department invites applications from eligible candidates for a Stenographer position under the Office of the Chief Engineer, Sukkur Barrage Left Bank Region, Sukkur. The duty station is the Rohri Canal Circle office at Hyderabad.

Eligibility
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- A graduate degree or equivalent, with at least second division, from a university or institute recognized by the Higher Education Commission.
- A certificate in English shorthand and typing from SBTE, STEVTA, or an institute recognized by the Sindh Board of Technical Education.
- English shorthand speed of 120 words per minute and typing speed of 35 words per minute.
- A certificate in MS Office from a recognized institute.
- Successful completion of the graduation-category general screening test conducted by IBA Sukkur Testing Services (STS), with at least 40% marks, and possession of the STS certificate.
Candidates must hold domicile of Naushahro Feroze, Shaheed Benazirabad, Sanghar, Matiari, Hyderabad, Tando Allahyar, Tando Muhammad Khan, or Badin district.
The age limit is 18–28 years. Age will be calculated on the application closing date. Five years of upper-age relaxation applies under Rule 7 of the Sindh Civil Servants (Relaxation of Upper Age Limit) Rules, 2024, and the Services, General Administration and Coordination Department notification dated 6 March 2025.
Reserved quotas for initial appointments will be observed according to Sindh Government law, rules, and policy.

Applicants already in service must obtain a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their department before submitting their application. They must bring the original NOC to the interview.
Only eligible, shortlisted candidates will be called for interview before the Departmental Selection Committee. Candidates must bring their original documents. The interview schedule will be uploaded to the job portal. No travelling or daily allowance will be admissible for attending the interview.
