About the role
The Ministry of Climate Change and Environmental Coordination invites applications from suitable Pakistani nationals for appointment as Stenotypist on a regular basis. The ministry is located at LG&RD Complex, Sector G-5/2, Islamabad.
Recruitment will follow the criteria and mechanism defined by the Establishment Division through O.M. No. 2/5/2026-BEFC/001 dated 22 October 2026.

Eligibility
Candidates must have Intermediate education and be computer literate. The required shorthand and typing speeds are 80 and 40 words per minute, respectively.
The age range is 18–25 years. Candidates are entitled to five years of general upper-age relaxation, plus an additional five years of relaxation for candidates from Balochistan under this recruitment exercise.
Selected candidates must submit a medical certificate as required under Rule 17 of the Civil Servants (Appointment, Promotion and Transfer) Rules, 1973. If a selected candidate is declared medically unfit, the post will be offered to an alternate candidate.

Candidates already in government service must apply through the proper channel and provide a No Objection Certificate (NOC). Applications without the required NOC will not be entertained. Only shortlisted applicants will be called for a walk-in interview. No travelling or daily allowance will be paid for attending the interview.
