Government and WAPDA employees who have completed two years of regular service by the closing date may receive upper-age relaxation of up to ten years.
Balochistan-domiciled WAPDA employees working on daily wages, contingent or Budget Estimate arrangements are granted special age relaxation equal to their years of service with WAPDA. For example, an eligibility age of 30 years plus five years of WAPDA service gives an eligibility age of 35 years.
Educational certificates and degrees must be verified by HEC-recognized universities or the relevant boards and institutes. Candidates removed from service on disciplinary grounds, dismissed from service or debarred from future employment are ineligible.
Under the Federal Government approval dated 22 October 2026, a one-time exemption applies to identified posts up to BPS-16 requiring trainable skills such as typing, shorthand or basic computer proficiency. If none of the candidates holds the required certification at selection, selected candidates must acquire the prescribed proficiency through departmental on-the-job training during probation.
