Balochistan Quota Vacancies at Pakistan Agricultural Research Council

About the role

Pakistan Agricultural Research Council (PARC), under the Ministry of National Food Security & Research, invites applications from Pakistani nationals with the required qualifications, experience and Balochistan domicile. These vacancies are part of a Balochistan quota recruitment exercise, with postings at BARDC-Quetta and CARI-Lasbella.

Recruitment will take place at district level with the help of newly established Employment Cells in Balochistan to ensure recruitment of residents.

Eligibility

• Scientific Assistant: Matric in Science, a two-year Field Assistant diploma or diploma in agricultural sciences, and eight years of relevant experience.

• Driver: Matric, an LTV driving licence, and three years of relevant practical experience after obtaining the licence.

• Farm Attendant-I: Matric with five years of relevant experience, or a relevant trade certificate from a recognized institution. Candidates holding a diploma in the relevant trade will be preferred.

• Lab Attendant-I: Matric with five years of relevant experience, or a relevant trade certificate from a recognized institution. Candidates holding a diploma in the relevant trade will be preferred.

• Lab Attendant-II: Matric, preferably with relevant experience, or a relevant trade certificate from a recognized institute.

• Naib Qasid: Matric.

Applicants must be Pakistani nationals with Balochistan domicile. The stated upper age limits include the existing five-year general age relaxation. Other age relaxation will apply under prevailing government rules. For this special exercise, Balochistan domicile holders will also receive five years of upper age relaxation instead of the existing three years.

How to apply

Apply online through the National Job Portal at njp.gov.pk within 15 days of the announcement date.

Applicants already serving in government departments, autonomous bodies or corporations must apply through the proper channel after obtaining a No Objection Certificate (NOC).

Only shortlisted candidates will be allowed to attend a walk-in interview. At the interview, candidates must present original documents and a set of attested copies of certificates issued by a recognized Board or IBCC, along with their CNIC and Balochistan domicile certificate or valid residence certificate.

False or bogus information will result in cancellation of candidature at any recruitment stage or after employment. No travelling or daily allowance will be paid for attending the interview. The Council reserves the right to cancel or postpone recruitment at any stage.
