About the role

Skyrooms Private Limited (SRL), a subsidiary of PIA Holding Company Limited (PIAHCL), operates Airport Hotel in Karachi, near Jinnah International Airport. SRL invites accomplished hospitality and business leaders to apply for appointment as Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

The appointment is on a performance-based, KPI-driven contract, extendable subject to satisfactory performance, applicable policy and Board approval.

The CEO will:

• Provide overall strategic and operational leadership and deliver the approved business plan, Statement of Corporate Intent where applicable, and agreed key performance indicators (KPIs).

• Drive occupancy, revenue, profitability, market positioning and service excellence.

• Oversee hotel operations, development and renovation, and asset stewardship.

• Ensure sound governance, internal controls, risk management, legal and regulatory compliance, and effective stakeholder engagement.

• Lead and develop a high-performing management team and ensure economical, efficient and effective use of company resources.

Eligibility

Applicants must hold a master's degree in Business, Finance, Commerce, Marketing or an equivalent discipline from an HEC-recognized institution. A relevant professional qualification is an advantage.

Candidates must have at least 15 years of progressive relevant experience, including at least five years as CEO, General Manager or in an equivalent senior operational leadership position, preferably in hospitality or hotel operations. They must demonstrate the ability to lead commercially oriented operations with responsibility for business performance, revenue, service quality and operational efficiency.

The age requirement is 45–55 years on the closing date. Relaxation of up to five years in the upper age limit may be considered, subject to applicable policy and approval.

Applicants must satisfy the applicable fit-and-proper requirements under Section 16, read with Schedule IV, of the State-Owned Enterprises (Governance and Operations) Act, 2023.
