Cleaner (Sanitation Worker)

About the role

Tehsil Headquarter Hospital Wazirabad is hiring Cleaners (sanitation workers) on a purely temporary basis to support hospital sanitation and daily cleaning duties. Selected candidates will be required to perform assigned cleaning and related support tasks within hospital wards and premises and follow hospital instructions and hygiene protocols.

Posts and vacancies

• Cleaner (Sanitation Worker) — 31 positions

• Appointment is purely temporary for a period of 89 days. Appointment on this temporary engagement will not create any right to a permanent post.

Eligibility

• Candidates must be medically and physically fit.

• Relevant experience in hospital cleaning/sanitation work is required and will be preferred.

• Age limit: up to 50 years.

• Preference will be given to candidates from the respective district/tehsil as per the advertisement.

• Applicants must produce original documents at the time of interview for verification.

• Selection will be made on merit according to Government of Punjab rules. The selection authority may accept or reject any application and make appropriate decisions as per rules.

• No TA/DA will be paid to candidates called for interview.

• Regular daily attendance will be recorded through the hospital biometric system. Continuous absence for two days may lead to termination of service.

• Wages and any approved allowances will be paid according to Government of Punjab rates and by the approved payment method (cross cheque or bank account) as applicable.

• Recent passport-size photographs

Applications should be submitted to the Office of the Medical Superintendent, Tehsil Headquarter Hospital Wazirabad. Original documents must be presented at the time of interview.

Additional notes: Appointment is purely temporary for 89 days. Appointment will not be on a sanctioned permanent post. Selected candidates will be assigned duties as per hospital requirements and must comply with hospital rules and disciplinary procedures.
