About the role

The Ministry of Science and Technology is seeking a dynamic individual with strong leadership, communication and management skills to head the Pakistan Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (PCSIR) under its administrative control. The post carries a salary package at MP-I Scale as determined by the Finance Division. The appointment will be on a three-year contract. The Ministry reserves the right to cancel or postpone the recruitment process at any stage.

Eligibility

• Qualification:

- Ph.D. degree in Natural/Applied Sciences: 7 years post-qualification experience in research, development and scientific work. - OR Master's degree in Natural/Applied Sciences: 9 years post-qualification experience in research, development and scientific work.

• Experience in administration and financial management at senior level will be preferred.

• Nationality: Pakistani.

• Age: Maximum 62 years on the closing date of the advertisement.

• Domicile: Merit.
