About the role
The Office of the District and Sessions Judge, Hyderabad invites applications from male and female candidates for vacancies in the District and Sessions Court, Hyderabad. The recruitment covers Junior Clerk, Naib Qasid and Lift Operator posts. Female candidates will be given equal opportunity to participate.

Eligibility
Candidates for all three posts must hold domicile and PRC for District Hyderabad. Special quotas will be observed under the applicable rules and policy, including quotas for women, persons with disabilities and minorities.
Candidates with disabilities must submit a CNIC bearing the wheelchair logo issued by NADRA and a valid disability certificate. The five percent disability quota will be observed under section 5 of the Sindh Civil Servants Act, 1973.
Government servants must apply through the proper channel. Candidates who have served the Federation or the Province of Sindh for at least three years will have an upper age limit of 30 years. If an overage candidate qualifies in the test or interview and is selected on the basis of experience, qualifications and skills, the case will be submitted to the Chief Justice, High Court of Sindh at Karachi, for relaxation of the upper age limit.
How to apply
Junior Clerk: Complete the online job application form through www.nts.org.pk and deposit the application fee of Rs. 800 using the challan or slip. Payment may be made through 1Link, 1Bill participating banks, ATM, internet banking, mobile banking, EasyPaisa, JazzCash or a TCS Express Counter. Do not send a hard copy of the application form or challan to NTS. Keep copies for future communication. Applications for Junior Clerk will not be accepted by hand.
Naib Qasid and Lift Operator: Submit an application on the prescribed form, by post or by hand, addressed to the District and Sessions Judge, Hyderabad. Attach attested photocopies of the CNIC, educational documents, PRC, domicile and two recent passport-size photographs. Government servants must also attach an NOC. The prescribed application form is attached to the recruitment notice. Applications must reach the office by 25 November 2026 at 3:00 p.m.
Candidates who previously applied to this office must apply afresh. Applicants seeking more than one post must submit a separate application for each post. Include an active mobile or contact number for further communication and WhatsApp notices.
Incomplete applications and applications received after the due date will be rejected. At the interview, candidates must bring their original CNIC, all educational documents, domicile and PRC, along with their application.
Important dates
- 25 November 2026, 3:00 p.m.: Deadline for applications for Naib Qasid and Lift Operator.
- By 2 December 2026: The eligible-candidate lists for Naib Qasid and Lift Operator will be displayed on the court notice board and at https://districtcourtshyderabad.gos.pk/ inviting objections and providing the test/interview schedule.
NTS will announce the Junior Clerk written-test dates and results on its official website. Candidates obtaining 50 percent marks in the initial test will be called for the skill/typing and shorthand test conducted by the Departmental Selection Committee of the District and Sessions Court, Hyderabad. Lists of successful candidates and dates for the skill/shorthand and typing test and interview will be displayed on the court notice board and website.
Tests and interviews for Naib Qasid and Lift Operator will be conducted by the Departmental Selection Committee. Only shortlisted candidates will be called. No TA/DA will be paid for attending tests or interviews.
The number of vacancies may be increased or decreased. The court reserves the right to cancel or withdraw the posts at any stage. External influence in the selection process will result in disqualification, and the committee's decision will be final. Appointment offers will be issued only after eligibility is established and educational documents, PRC, domicile and other certificates are verified by the issuing authorities.
