Deputation Vacancies at National Vocational and Technical Training Commission

About the role

The National Vocational and Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC) invites applications on deputation under standard terms and conditions from qualified, motivated and experienced officers and officials of Federal and Provincial Governments and Autonomous Bodies who are serving on a regular basis.

The places of posting are headquarters and regional or sub-offices. Selected candidates must report for joining at NAVTTC Headquarters in Islamabad, but may be posted in offices anywhere in Pakistan. Positions will be filled in accordance with approved standard operating procedures, where applicable.

Posts and vacancies

The recruitment is for regular government officers and officials serving in BS-19, BS-18, BS-17, BS-16, BS-15, BS-14 or equivalent grades.

Eligibility

BPS-17 to BPS-19: Eligible applicants include Federal and Provincial Cadre or Ex-Cadre Officers, preferably from the Secretariat, Directorates, Planning and Development, Audit and Accounts, and Provincial Management Service or Ex-Cadre Officers.

Applicants must have at least five years of post-qualification experience. Relevant experience includes administration, financial management, planning, project management, planning and implementation, coordination, monitoring and evaluation, certification of projects and programmes, international cooperation with international organizations, and preparation of briefs, summaries, reports and documents.

BPS-14 to BPS-16: Applicants must be regular government officials working in Federal or Provincial Governments or Autonomous Bodies, preferably employees of Ministries, Divisions or Attached Departments. They must have at least five years of post-qualification experience, be computer literate and have a good command of office noting and drafting.

Only regular public or civil servants working in Federal or Provincial Government Organizations or Autonomous Bodies in the same scale are eligible. Contract, project-based and Tenure Track System employees are not eligible.

Only eligible shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview. Applicants must produce a departmental No Objection Certificate at the interview. Candidates who fail to meet the prerequisites of the advertised posts at the interview will be disqualified. Submission of fake or forged documents, or attempts to influence the selection process, will also result in disqualification.

NAVTTC reserves the right to accept, reject or cancel any application or the entire hiring process at any stage without assigning a reason, and to increase or decrease the number of posts as necessary. Submission of an application does not confer a right to appointment on deputation. No travelling or daily allowance will be admissible for the interview.
