About the role

Pak-Austria Fachhochschule: Institute of Applied Sciences and Technology (PAF-IAST) is a public-sector chartered, degree-awarding institute and a project of the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Its concept is based on the slogan “Skilling Pakistan” to create high-quality technical education infrastructure. The institute is recruiting faculty members for its School of Computing Sciences on a one-year adjunct basis.

Posts and vacancies

Eligibility

Assistant Professor

Candidates must have a PhD with specialization in Software Engineering, Quantum Computing, Computer Vision, Human-Machine Interaction, Expert Systems, or High-Performance Computing. The maximum age limit is 40 years.

Lecturer

Candidates must have a first-division MS/MPhil with specialization in Network Security, Cloud/Edge Security, Digital Forensics, Cryptography, Blockchain, or Software Engineering. The maximum age limit is 35 years.

Lab Engineer / Lab Demonstrator

Candidates must have a first-division BS, preferably with practical experience or knowledge in High-Performance Computing, including Parallel and Distributed Computing; DevOps; Software Architecture/Construction/Testing; Full Stack Development; or Cyber Security. The maximum age limit is 45 years.
