Contract Vacancies at Public Private Partnership Authority (P3A)

About the role

The Public Private Partnership Authority (P3A) is an autonomous statutory body established under the Public Private Partnership Act, 2017, with a mandate to strengthen Pakistan's public-private partnership framework and enable private sector participation in public infrastructure and services. P3A is recruiting experienced finance and advisory professionals on a contract basis to support high-impact infrastructure and investment projects.

Posts and vacancies

1. Head, Finance and Fund Management

• Required qualification and experience: At least a Master's or equivalent degree from an HEC-recognized institution (equivalent to at least seventeen (17) years of schooling) in a relevant discipline such as Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, Economics or a related field. Relevant professional qualifications such as CA, ICMA, ACCA, CPA or CFA are acceptable. A minimum of ten (10) to twelve (12) years (post-sixteen (16) years' qualification) of relevant experience in corporate finance, investment/transaction advisory, portfolio management, project finance (including PPP experience) from a reputable firm, investment bank, multilateral agency and/or public sector organization.

2. Deputy Head, Fund Management and Investment Promotion

• Required qualification and experience: At least a Bachelor's or equivalent degree from an HEC-recognized institution (equivalent to at least sixteen (16) years of schooling) in a relevant discipline such as Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, Economics or a related field. Relevant professional qualifications such as CA, ICMA, ACCA, CPA or CFA are acceptable. A minimum of ten (10) years (post-sixteen (16) years' qualification) of relevant experience in corporate finance, investment/transaction advisory, portfolio management, project finance (including PPP experience) from a reputable firm, investment bank, multilateral agency and/or public sector organization.

3. Director, Advisory

• Required qualification and experience: At least a Bachelor's or equivalent degree from an HEC-recognized institution (equivalent to at least sixteen (16) years of schooling) in a relevant discipline such as Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Engineering or a related field. Relevant professional qualifications such as ICMA, ACCA, CA, CPA or CFA are acceptable. A minimum of six (6) years (post-sixteen (16) years' qualification) of relevant experience in advisory roles, strategic consulting, public-private partnerships, infrastructure development, investment/transaction advisory or related fields. Experience with multilateral organizations, investment banks and/or public sector entities is highly desirable.

4. Associate Director, Finance and Accounts

• Required qualification and experience: At least a Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification from an HEC-recognized institution (equivalent to at least sixteen (16) years of schooling) in a relevant discipline such as Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics or a related field. Relevant professional qualifications such as ICMA, ACCA, CA, CPA or CFA are acceptable. A minimum of six (6) years (post-sixteen (16) years' qualification) of relevant experience in financial management, accounting, budgeting, financial reporting, audit, corporate finance or related fields. Experience with a reputable firm, financial institution, multilateral organization and/or public sector entity will be preferred.

A competitive remuneration package, commensurate with experience and qualifications and in accordance with P3A's Human Resources Regulations, 2022, will be offered to selected candidates.

Eligibility

• Educational qualifications must be from HEC-recognized institutions as stated for each post.

• Professional qualifications accepted where specified include CA, ICMA, ACCA, CPA, CFA or equivalent.

• Age limits as advertised: Head, Finance and Fund Management: candidate's age shall not exceed 62 years on the date of this advertisement; Deputy Head, Fund Management and Investment Promotion: candidate's age shall not exceed 60 years on the date of this advertisement; Director, Advisory: candidate's age shall not exceed 60 years on the date of this advertisement; Associate Director, Finance and Accounts: candidate's age shall not exceed 55 years on the date of this advertisement.
