Directors (Civil & Electrical/Mechanical) — Contract Vacancies at Capital Development Authority (CDA)

About the role

Capital Development Authority (CDA) is seeking experienced engineering professionals for senior Director positions on a contract basis. Appointees will manage major infrastructure and building projects, lead multidisciplinary construction teams and oversee large-scale project delivery. Selected candidates will be engaged initially for a two-year contract, which may be extended. CDA reserves the right to cancel the advertisement or change the number of posts.

Posts and vacancies

• Director (Civil) — 5 posts — PPS-10

- Minimum qualification: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering. Professional engineering registration with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) is required. A Master's degree in Construction or Project Management will be an advantage. Candidates must have proven experience in managing major infrastructure works in a leadership role; experience in multidisciplinary construction environments is preferred. Age: 40–50.

• Director (Electrical & Mechanical) — 2 posts — PPS-10

- Minimum qualification: Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering. Professional engineering registration with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) is required. A Master's degree in Construction or Project Management will be an advantage. Candidates must have minimum 15 years of relevant experience in large-scale projects in a senior position. Age: 40–50.

Eligibility

Age relaxation and all applicable quotas will be observed as per government policy. Candidates must meet the minimum education, professional registration and experience requirements stated for each post. Government servants must submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their department with the application. Only shortlisted candidates who meet the criteria will be called for a written test, skill test and interview. No TA/DA will be admissible. Candidates will be required to bring original documents (educational and experience certificates) and attested copies at the time of interview.
