About the role
The Office of the Chief Engineer, Sukkur Barrage Left Bank Region is recruiting Data Processing Assistants to support data entry and processing functions for district-level projects. Appointments will follow government rules and applicable service conditions. Candidates will be required to perform computer-based data processing, maintain records and assist with information management tasks as assigned by the department.

Eligibility
- Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or an equivalent qualification, or Diploma in Information Technology (DIT) as stated.
- Experience: One year experience in data processing is required.
- Age limit: 18–28 years. Age will be calculated as of the closing date of application. Age relaxation of up to 5 years is allowed where admissible under relevant rules for certain categories and government servants, in accordance with the rules cited in the advertisement (reference to FREM/Dy rules 2024 and related notifications).
- Domicile: Candidates domiciled in Hyderabad and Matiari districts are eligible to apply for the posts listed for those districts.
- Government employees must obtain and submit NOC from their department at the time of interview or as required.
- Selection will include a screening/test conducted through the testing service (STS); a minimum of 40% in the screening is referenced for shortlisting. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview; originals of documents will be required at that time.
