Engineering Development Board (EDB) — Contract Vacancies for PAVE Program

About the role

The Engineering Development Board (EDB), Ministry of Industries and Production, invites applications for contract positions under the Pakistan Accelerated Vehicle Electrification (PAVE) Program. Appointments are on an open contract basis initially for one (01) year, extendable on satisfactory performance. Positions are Islamabad based with nationwide visits when required. Posts and vacancies

1. Information Specialist — 1 post
- Qualification & experience: Minimum 16 years education in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering or relevant discipline with 4–7 years relevant experience in MIS/database systems and digital platforms.
- Age limit: 25–50 years.

2. Accounts/Audit Analyst — 1 post
- Qualification & experience: Minimum 16 years education in CA/ACCA, MBA or relevant discipline with 2–5 years relevant experience.
- Age limit: 25–45 years.

3. Procurement/Contracts Analyst — 1 post
- Qualification & experience: Minimum 16 years education in Business, Management, Supply Chain, Engineering, Law or relevant discipline with 2–5 years relevant experience.
- Age limit: 25–45 years.

4. Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Assistant — 1 post
- Qualification & experience: Minimum Intermediate or equivalent qualification with basic computer skills; office coordination and record management experience preferred.
- Age limit: 25–45 years.

Eligibility

Candidates must meet the specified education and experience requirements for each post and fall within the advertised age limits. Positions are contractual and shortlisted applicants will be called for test/interview. Government employees may apply through proper channel. The CEO, EDB, reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of posts or cancel the recruitment process at any stage.
