Project Staff Vacancies at Indus River System Authority (IRSA)

About the role

Indus River System Authority (IRSA) is establishing a Telemetry System through the project "Installation of Telemetry System for Real Time Discharge Monitoring at 27 Key Sites on Indus Basin Irrigation System (IBIS)". WAPDA is the executing agency. Staff hired for the Project will be attached with WAPDA during execution, a Defects Liability Period (DLP) of one year and WAPDA's maintenance period of two years for training purposes. Appointments will be made as project employees on project mode.

Posts and vacancies

The Authority intends to appoint the following project staff:

1. GIS/Web GIS Analyst — 1 post — PPS-07 (Rs. 157,500)
2. Senior Auditor — 1 post — PPS-06 (Rs. 105,000)
3. Sub-Engineer (Electronics/Electrical) — 17 posts — PPS-05 (Rs. 70,000)
4. Supervisor (Electronics/ Electrical) — 4 posts — PPS-05 (Rs. 70,000)

Eligibility

• Appointments will be made on project mode initially for one year, extendable subject to satisfactory performance and project requirements.

• Posts will be filled on open merit basis.

• Increment @ 5% shall be admissible annually as per the Standard Pay Package for Project Staff.

• Postings/transfers for Sub-Engineer and Supervisor positions can be made anywhere at project sites in Pakistan.

• Applicants serving in Government / Semi Government Departments or Autonomous Bodies must apply through proper channel and submit NOC from their department.

• Relaxation of upper age limit will be admissible as per Federal Government rules.

• Applicants with minimum academic qualification below 2nd Division will not be considered.

• Only short-listed candidates will be called for test and interviews. No TA/DA will be admissible.

• The competent authority reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of posts or cancel the recruitment process.
