About the role
The Office of the Medical Superintendent, District / Tehsil Headquarters Hospital (Wah General Hospital), Taxila, District Rawalpindi, invites applications from eligible residents of the district for janitorial staff. The selected candidates will carry out cleaning and sanitation work at the hospital.
Recruitment is purely temporary, on an 89-day basis, through the Health Council. It gives no right to permanent appointment or regular employment, and the appointment is not made against a sanctioned post.
Selected candidates will be posted to the relevant hospital or institution as required. They will perform the duties assigned to them by the hospital administration.
Attendance must be marked daily on the hospital's biometric system after registration. Pay is linked solely to biometric attendance, and any day without it is counted as an absence. A selected candidate who is absent for two consecutive days will be dismissed. Any complaint or unsatisfactory performance may lead to dismissal without notice.
Wages are paid at the government's fixed rate, only by crossed cheque or into a bank account.

Eligibility
- The candidate must be a resident of, and hold the domicile of, the relevant district and must meet the prescribed criteria.
- The candidate must be medically and physically fit.
- Candidates with experience of cleaning work in a hospital will be given preference.
- Age limit: 50 years or less.
- Recruitment will be made on merit under the prevailing policy and instructions of the Government of the Punjab.

At the interview, candidates must present their original CNIC, original educational certificates, domicile and experience certificates.
No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview or the selection process. The competent selection committee may accept or reject any application under the rules and may make any appropriate decision about the recruitment process. If any information or document provided is found to be false or forged at any stage, the application or appointment may be cancelled.
