The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of Pakistan, invites applications for regular Stenotypist appointments in Islamabad. This recruitment is reserved for candidates holding a Local or Domicile Certificate of Balochistan.

Eligibility
Candidates must have an Intermediate qualification and be computer literate. They must have minimum shorthand and typing speeds of 80 and 40 words per minute, respectively.
The age limit is 30 years, including general age relaxation. Candidates from Balochistan receive an additional five years of specific relaxation, making the total age limit 35 years. Only applicants possessing a Balochistan Local or Domicile Certificate are eligible.

Applications may be submitted to the respective District Employment Cell in Balochistan or through the National Job Portal at njp.gov.pk, using the dedicated tab for this recruitment exercise.
Recruitment will take place at district level with the assistance of newly established District Employment Cells in Balochistan, as a special arrangement to recruit residents. Selection will be through walk-in interviews, without an entry or written test. Candidates must bring their original documents to the interview. No travelling or daily allowance will be admissible for attending the interview.
