About the role

The National Disaster Risk Management Fund (NDRMF) invites applications from qualified professionals for Islamabad-based positions on temporary contracts. Posts and vacancies

1. Resource Person (Resilient / Urban and Regional Design) — 1 position
- Tenure: 03 months
- Location: Remote (attend meetings or site discussions when needed)
- Maximum age: 30 years

2. Research Associate — Executive Coordination & Research — 1 position
- Tenure: 06 months
- Location: Islamabad
- Maximum age: 30 years

3. Research Associate — Disaster Risk Financing (DRF) & Project Preparation Facility (PPF) — 1 position
- Tenure: 06 months
- Location: Islamabad
- Maximum age: 30 years

Eligibility

Resource Person:

• Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Designing, Urban and Regional Planning or an equivalent professional qualification in architectural or urban design.

• Experience: Minimum two (2) years of professional experience in architectural design and technical documentation. Demonstrated experience preparing complete architectural drawing sets and technical specifications. Experience with development partners, donor-funded programmes or public sector institutions is an asset. Prior work in climate-sensitive, low-cost or vernacular construction or applied research and case study preparation is an asset.

Research Associate — Executive Coordination & Research:

• Qualification: Minimum 16 years of education in Economics, Development Studies, PCS, Public Policy, Business Administration or related field.

• Experience: 2–3 years relevant experience; fresh candidates with strong academic background may apply. Must be able to gather, structure and interpret complex data, conduct background research and thematic literature reviews, and synthesize multi-source qualitative and quantitative information into actionable insights.

Research Associate — DRF & PPF:

• Qualification: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environment, Economics, Finance, Development Studies, Business Administration or a related field.

• Experience: Fresh candidates with a strong academic background encouraged to apply; relevant experience an advantage. Understanding of subject analysis and project development processes desirable. Strong organizational, coordination and documentation skills. Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
