About the role

A progressive corporate sector organization with an office in Islamabad is seeking a competent, talented and result-oriented Chief Executive Officer (CEO) on a contract basis for a period to be decided by the Board of Directors. The CEO will lead business transformation, manage diverse public and private stakeholders, grow top-line revenue through innovative interventions, and maintain competitive bottom-line performance. The role requires experience in project management, joint ventures, contract negotiation, financial management and provision of quality client services. The organization notes that market-based salary as recommended by the Selection Board will be offered.

Eligibility

• Nationality: Applicants must be Pakistani nationals.

• Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Avionics, Aerospace), Space Sciences, Remote Sensing & GIS or related disciplines. A degree in Business Administration or a related field is preferable.

• Experience: At least 20 years of professional experience with a minimum of 5 years of proven experience at C-level, preferably as CEO/Head of organizations with substantial business volumes. Preference for candidates with a blend of private and public sector leadership experience, particularly in space & satellite related technologies, engineering operations, manufacturing and technology development projects.

• Technical skills: Proficiency in transforming digital data into actionable insights for planning and data-driven decision making, and proficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) and data analytics applications.

• Personality: Excellent communication and presentation skills in Urdu and English, high energy, sociable, good negotiation skills, proactive business approach and inclusive managerial style.

• Age limit: 45 to 62 years on the closing date of the advertisement.

• Government employees: Candidates already in government service should apply through proper channel and submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their parent department at the time of interview. Public sector job holders will have to resign if selected.

• Compliance with selection criteria does not guarantee short-listing; candidates with higher grades in relevant degrees and more relevant experience will be preferred.
