Contract Vacancies at Jinnah Medical Construction Company (JMC), Islamabad

About the role

Jinnah Medical Construction Company (JMC), a public sector company established by the Government of Pakistan for planning, development, construction, commissioning and operational readiness of the Jinnah Medical Complex & Research Centre (JMC&RC), Islamabad, invites applications for several positions. Appointments will be made on a contract basis for three years or until completion of the JMC&RC project (whichever is earlier) on a market-based / industry-competitive pay package.

Posts and vacancies

1. General Manager Biomedical Engineering (JMC-03) — 1 post; Max age 45
- Qualification: Master's in Biomedical Engineering.
- Experience: Minimum 12 years' relevant experience in biomedical engineering, including hospital planning and medical equipment planning, procurement, installation and commissioning. JCI hospital experience preferred.
- Key skills: Medical equipment planning, tendering, technical evaluation, commissioning and asset management.

2. Manager Structure Engineering (JMC-04) — 1 post; Max age 40
- Qualification: Bachelor's in Civil Engineering; Master's in Structural Engineering preferred; PEC registration required.
- Experience: Minimum 7 years' relevant experience in structural engineering, preferably in hospital/high-rise projects.
- Key skills: Structural design/review, site supervision and proficiency in ETABS/SAFE/Revit.

3. Manager Project Construction Management (JMC-04) — 1 post; Max age 45
- Qualification: Bachelor's in Civil Engineering; PEC/PE registration required.
- Experience: Minimum 7 years' relevant experience in construction project management, execution and contract administration, including 3 years in a leadership role. Hospital, high-rise and EPC experience preferred.
- Key skills: Project lifecycle, contracts, cost, schedule, variations, quality and risk management.

4. Manager Planning & Controlling Engineering (JMC-04) — 1 post; Max age 40
- Qualification: Bachelor's in Engineering (any discipline); PEC registration required.
- Experience: Minimum 7 years' relevant experience in project planning, scheduling and monitoring, preferably in large-scale/healthcare projects. EPC experience preferred.
- Key skills: Primavera P6, scheduling, delay analysis, progress monitoring and reporting.

5. Manager Law / Contract Management (JMC-04) — 1 post; Max age 45
- Qualification: LLB required; LLM/corporate legal training preferred; Barrister-at-Law or Advocate of High Court.
- Experience: Minimum 4–6 years' relevant experience in corporate/commercial law and contract management.
- Key skills: Contract drafting/negotiation, contract lifecycle management, risk/compliance, dispute resolution and knowledge of PPRA/PEC contractual frameworks.

6. Receptionist / Front Desk Officer (JMC-07) — 1 post; Max age 35 (Female)
- Qualification: Minimum Intermediate; Bachelor's preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years' relevant experience in receptionist/front desk, administration, customer service or similar role.
