About the role
Jinnah Medical Construction Company (JMC), a public sector company under the Ministry of National Health Services, Regulation and Coordination, invites applications for multiple managerial, engineering and front-desk positions at JMC, Islamabad. Appointments will be made on a contract basis for three years or until completion of the JMC&RC project (whichever is earlier) on a market-based / industry-competitive pay package.
Posts and vacancies
- General Manager Biomedical Engineering — 1 post, Maximum age 45
- Qualification: Master's in Biomedical Engineering
- Experience: Minimum 12 years' relevant experience in biomedical engineering, including hospital planning and medical equipment planning, procurement, installation and commissioning. JCI hospital experience preferred.
- Key skills: Medical equipment planning, tendering, technical evaluation, commissioning and asset management.
- Manager Structural Engineering — 1 post, Maximum age 40
- Qualification: Bachelor's in Civil Engineering; Master's in Structural Engineering preferred; PEC registration required.
- Experience: Minimum 7 years' relevant experience in structural engineering, preferably in hospital/high-rise projects.
- Key skills: Structural design/review, site supervision and proficiency in ETABS/SAFE/Revit.
- Manager Construction Management — 1 post, Maximum age 45
- Qualification: Bachelor's in Civil Engineering; PEC/PE registration required.
- Experience: Minimum 7 years' relevant experience in construction project management, execution and contract administration, including 3 years in a leadership role. Hospital, high-rise and EPC experience preferred.
- Key skills: Project lifecycle, contracts, cost, schedule, variations, quality and risk management.
- Manager Planning & Controlling Engineering — 1 post, Maximum age 40
- Qualification: Bachelor's in Engineering (any discipline); PEC registration required.
- Experience: Minimum 7 years' relevant experience in project planning, scheduling and monitoring, preferably in large-scale/healthcare projects. EPC experience preferred.
- Key skills: Primavera P6, scheduling, delay analysis, progress monitoring and reporting.
- Manager Contract Management — 1 post, Maximum age 45
- Qualification: LLB required; LLM or corporate legal training preferred; Barrister-at-Law or Advocate of High Court.
- Experience: Minimum 4–6 years' relevant experience in corporate/commercial law and contract management.
- Key skills: Contract drafting/negotiation, contract lifecycle management, risk/compliance, dispute resolution and knowledge of PPRA/PEC contractual frameworks.
- Receptionist / Front Desk Officer — 1 post, Maximum age 35 (Female)
- Qualification: Minimum Intermediate; Bachelor's preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years' relevant experience in receptionist/front desk, administration, customer service or similar role.
Eligibility
Candidates must meet the educational and experience requirements listed for each post above. Age limits are specified per post and are calculated as of the application closing date.
