Contingent Shutdown Staff Vacancies at a Public Sector Organization

About the role

A Public Sector Organization is hiring competent and dedicated workers on a contingent basis for shutdown activity only. Appointments are for a limited period of 80 to 110 days in Karachi and will be paid fixed wages as shown against each post. Candidates who meet the prescribed eligibility may attend the walk-in interview at the times and venues listed. No TA/DA will be admissible.

- Fixed wages: Rs. 82,268 per month
- Qualification: B.Tech (pass) or 3-year Diploma of Associate Engineer or equivalent (1st Division)

Selected candidates will be posted at Karachi for the duration of 80 to 110 days only.

Eligibility

• Age: Candidates must be at least 18 years and not more than 35 years of age. Age may be relaxed for technical expertise and relevant experience, particularly for shutdown, turnaround or maintenance work in chemical/petrochemical/power plants.

• Only candidates who fulfill the prescribed eligibility criteria should appear for the interview.

• Where the prescribed qualification requires 1st Division in the final degree/certificate, only one 2nd Division in the entire academic career will be acceptable. Qualification may be relaxed on the basis of technical expertise and relevant experience.

• Experience will be considered only if acquired after the minimum prescribed qualification for the post.

• Educational certificates, diplomas and degrees must be from government-recognized institutions.

• Walk-in interviews for posts at Sr. No. 07 to 11 will be conducted at Karachi only.

• No TA/DA will be admissible for appearing in the interview.
