Project Staff Vacancies at Indus River System Authority (Telemetry Project)

About the role

Indus River System Authority (IRSA) is establishing a Telemetry System through the project "Installation of Telemetry System for Real Time Discharge Monitoring at 27 Key Sites on Indus Basin Irrigation System (IBIS)". WAPDA is the Executing Agency. Staff hired for the Project will be attached with WAPDA during execution, for a Defects Liability Period (DLP) of one (1) year and thereafter WAPDA's maintenance period of two (2) years for training purposes. Appointments will be made as project employees on project mode, initially for one year and extendable subject to satisfactory performance and project requirements. The posts will be filled on an open merit basis. Remuneration will follow the Standard Pay Package as indicated against each post. Annual increment of 5% shall be admissible.

• Senior Auditor — PPS-06 (Rs. 105,000) — 1 post

• Sub-Engineer (Electronics/Electrical) — PPS-05 (Rs. 70,000) — 17 posts

• Supervisor (Electronics/Electrical) — PPS-05 (Rs. 70,000) — 4 posts

Eligibility

• Appointments will be on open merit basis.

• Applicants with minimum academic qualification below 2nd Division will not be considered.

• Relaxation of upper age limit will be admissible as per Federal Government rules.

• Applicants serving in Government, Semi-Government departments or Autonomous Bodies must apply through proper channel and submit NOC from their respective department.

• Postings/transfers for Sub-Engineer and Supervisor positions can be made anywhere at project sites in Pakistan.

• Only short-listed candidates will be called for tests and interviews. No TA/DA will be admissible for test/interview.

• The competent authority reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of posts or cancel the recruitment process before completion.
