Project Staff Vacancies at Indus River System Authority (IRSA)

About the role

Indus River System Authority (IRSA) is establishing a Telemetry System through the project "Installation of Telemetry System for Real Time Discharge Monitoring at 27 Key Sites on Indus Basin Irrigation System (IBIS)". WAPDA is the executing agency. Staff hired for this project will be attached with WAPDA during project execution, for a Defects Liability Period (DLP) of one (1) year and thereafter for WAPDA's maintenance period of two (2) years for training purposes. Appointments will be made as project employees on project mode initially for one year, extendable subject to satisfactory performance and project requirements.

• GIS/Web GIS Analyst — 1 post — PPS-07 (Rs. 157,500)

• Senior Auditor — 1 post — PPS-06 (Rs. 105,000)

• Sub-Engineer (Electronics/Electrical) — 17 posts — PPS-05 (Rs. 70,000)

• Supervisor (Electronics/Electrical) — 4 posts — PPS-05 (Rs. 70,000)

Remuneration shall be admissible as per the Standard Pay Package for Project Staff shown above. Increment at 5% shall be admissible annually as per Finance Division guidance referenced in the advertisement.

Eligibility

• Appointments will be made on open merit basis.

• Applicants serving in Government, Semi-Government Departments or Autonomous Bodies must apply through proper channel and provide an NOC from their department.

• Relaxation of upper age limit will be allowed as per Federal Government rules.

• Candidates with minimum academic qualification below 2nd Division will not be considered.

• Postings/transfers for Sub-Engineer and Supervisor positions can be made at project sites anywhere in Pakistan.

• Only shortlisted candidates will be called for tests and interviews. No TA/DA is admissible for test/interview.

• Information provided in applications will be verified; IRSA may cancel selection if any information is found false or forged.

• The competent authority reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of posts or cancel the recruitment process at any stage.
