Contract Vacancies at Punjab Forensic Science Authority (PFSA)

About the role

Punjab Forensic Science Authority (PFSA), Home Department, Government of the Punjab, invites applications for senior positions on a contract basis for three years (renewable) under the Contract Appointment Policy 2004. These are senior management posts offered on a special pay package. Monthly salaries are shown in the advertisement: Director (Finance & Procurement) (MP-TI) and Chief Security Officer Rs.190,000/- p.m. plus 10% annual increase. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for test/interview.

Posts and vacancies

1. Director (Finance & Procurement) — 1 post
- Scale: MP-TI
- Minimum qualification & experience: ACCA or CA or Master's degree (second division) in Finance or Accounting or equivalent qualification from a university recognized by the Higher Education Commission; and twelve years' experience in accounts, finance, public procurement and public financial management.

2. Chief Security Officer — 1 post
- Scale: Special pay package
- Minimum qualification & experience: An officer retired from the armed forces not below the rank of Major.

Eligibility

• Candidates must hold Punjab domicile.

• Director (Finance & Procurement): age limit 35–50 years.

• Chief Security Officer: age limit 45–55 years.

• General age relaxation will be applicable in the maximum/upper age limit as per prevailing Government of the Punjab policy.

• Post-qualification experience: experience considered must be after the qualifying degree.

• Applicants holding foreign degrees must submit an equivalence certificate issued by the Higher Education Commission, Islamabad.

• Only candidates who have completed the degree required for the specific post should apply; candidates to whom final transcript has not been issued shall not be considered.

• Government employees should apply through proper channel.

• Interested applicants should apply online through the website of Information Technology University (ITU) by 2026-11-24. Applications other than online will not be accepted.

• Uploading of all required academic transcripts and degrees is compulsory; applications submitted without complete transcripts shall be considered incomplete and rejected.

• Applicants must pay a non-refundable Application Processing Fee of Rs.2,000 (Two Thousand Only) before or on the closing date through the PSID generated after successful submission of the online application.

• If applying for more than one post submit separate online application forms and pay separate processing fees for each post.

• The job portal link will be blocked on the closing date and applicants will not be able to submit after the deadline.

• Only shortlisted candidates will be called for test/interview. Candidates must produce original documents at the time of interview. No TA/DA will be admissible for test/interview.
