Non-Teaching Staff Vacancies at University of Mianwali

About the role

The University of Mianwali, a public-sector university established under the Government of Punjab Act (XXVI of 2019), invites applications for non-teaching positions under Consolidated Advertisement No. 10/2026. The positions are offered on a regular or contract basis.

Posts and vacancies

All positions carry BS-17 and an age limit of 21–35 years.

Eligibility

Only applicants domiciled in Punjab will be considered for these non-teaching posts. Degrees must be from HEC-recognized universities or degree-awarding institutions. Holders of foreign degrees must provide an HEC equivalence certificate with their application.

Candidates already working in government, semi-government or autonomous bodies must apply through the proper channel. Government servants must submit a Departmental Permission Certificate or NOC from the competent authority with the hard-copy application. Applications without this document will be rejected. Applicants who have requested permission but have not yet received it must provide evidence of having approached their department or institution and produce the NOC at interview. If the NOC is received earlier, it should be sent immediately to the university.

Documentary evidence is required wherever experience forms part of the eligibility criteria. Private-sector experience will be accepted only where the organization is registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan, the Registrar of Firms or another regulatory authority.

Age relaxation may be granted under Government of Punjab rules. Under the cited Punjab Government notifications, 15% of posts are reserved for women and 5% for minorities, calculated against the total number of posts advertised. Quotas for persons with disabilities, minorities and women will be observed under the applicable rules. Applicants seeking appointment against a quota must indicate the relevant category in their application.

Applicants must have received their final results by the closing date. Results not officially announced by the Controller of Examination of a board or university before that date will not be considered. Incorrect or false information may lead to disqualification and action under the rules.

How to apply

Apply online at https://careers.umw.edu.pk/ by December 2, 2026. Submit the prescribed application fee of Rs. 3,000 for BS-17 by the same date, either through a bank deposit or a bank draft in favour of the Treasurer, University of Mianwali. The fee is non-refundable.

After applying online, submit a signed hard copy of the application form by courier, together with two sets of the application report and photocopies of your CNIC, domicile, all educational documents and transcripts, passport-size photographs, experience certificates and the original bank deposit challan or bank draft.

The complete application must reach the Office of the Registrar by December 2, 2026. The bank draft must not be older than three months. Applicants applying for more than one post must submit a separate application, the necessary documents and the processing fee for each post. Incomplete applications and applications received after the closing date will not be accepted, even if dispatched by courier before the deadline.

Only shortlisted candidates will be invited for interview. No TA/DA will be admissible. The university may publish details of eligible candidates and interview dates on its website and may inform applicants through courier, the postal service, telephone or electronic messages.

Where required under the service rules or statutes, a written, typing or screening test may be conducted for eligible candidates. Such tests will not count towards the final merit list under the university's approved recruitment policy.

The university reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of vacancies, or withdraw vacancies without assigning a reason.
