Project Staff Vacancies at Indus River System Authority (IRSA) - Telemetry Project

About the role

Indus River System Authority (IRSA) is establishing a Telemetry System through the project "Installation of Telemetry System for Real Time Discharge Monitoring at 27 Key Sites on Indus Basin Irrigation System (IBIS)". WAPDA is the Executing Agency. Staff hired for the project will be attached with WAPDA during execution, for a Defects Liability Period (DLP) of one (1) year and thereafter for WAPDA's two (2) year maintenance period for training purposes. Appointments will be made as project employees on project mode initially for a period of one year, extendable subject to satisfactory performance and project requirements.

• GIS/Web GIS Analyst — Standard Pay Package PPS-07 (Rs. 157,500) — 1 post

• Senior Auditor — Standard Pay Package PPS-06 (Rs. 105,000) — 1 post

• Sub-Engineer (Electronics/Electrical) — Standard Pay Package PPS-05 (Rs. 70,000) — 17 posts

• Supervisor (Electronics/Electrical) — Standard Pay Package PPS-05 (Rs. 70,000) — 4 posts

Remuneration will be admissible as per the Standard Pay Package for Project Staff as mentioned against each post. An annual increment of 5% shall be admissible as per Finance Division regulations.

Eligibility

• Posts will be filled on an open merit basis.

• Applicants with minimum academic qualification below 2nd Division will not be considered.

• Relaxation of upper age limit will be admissible as per Federal Government rules.

• Applicants serving in Government, Semi-Government Departments or Autonomous Bodies must apply through proper channel and submit NOC from their department.

• Postings/transfers for Sub-Engineer and Supervisor positions may be made anywhere at project sites in Pakistan.

• Only short-listed candidates will be called for tests and interviews. No TA/DA will be admissible for test/interview.

• Information provided in application forms will be verified; IRSA reserves the right to cancel selection at any stage if false or forged information is found.

• The competent authority may increase or decrease the number of posts or cancel the recruitment process at any stage.
