Sanitary Worker / Cleaner (Janitorial Staff)

About the role

The Office of the Medical Superintendent, District/Tehsil Headquarters Hospital Kotli Sattian, invites applications from eligible residents of Murree district for janitorial staff to carry out cleaning and sanitation work at the hospital.

The appointment is purely temporary, for a period of 89 days, and is made through the Health Council. It gives no right to permanent appointment or regular employment, and it is not made against a sanctioned post.

Selected candidates will be posted to the relevant hospital or institution as needed. They must carry out hospital cleaning and any related duties assigned by the administration.

Selected candidates must register on the hospital's biometric system and mark their attendance daily. Pay depends entirely on biometric attendance. Without it, the employee will be marked absent. Two consecutive days of absence will lead to dismissal. Any complaint or unsatisfactory performance may also lead to dismissal without prior notice.

Wages will be paid at the rate fixed by the government. Payment will be made only by crossed cheque or into a bank account, using the approved payment method.

Eligibility

• Candidates must be residents of Murree district and hold a domicile of the district.

• Candidates must be medically and physically fit.

• Preference will be given to candidates with experience of sanitation work in a hospital.

• Age limit: 50 years or less.

• Recruitment will be made on merit, in line with the current policy and instructions of the Government of Punjab.

At the interview, candidates must present their original National Identity Card, original educational certificates, domicile and experience certificates. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview or selection.

The competent selection committee may accept or reject any application and may make any appropriate decision about the recruitment process, in line with the rules. If any information or document is found to be false or fake at any stage, the application or appointment may be cancelled.
