Sanitary Worker (Janitorial Staff)

About the role

The Office of the Medical Superintendent, Government Shahbaz Sharif District Headquarters Hospital, Multan requires janitorial staff. Both men and women are invited to apply for cleaning and sanitation work at the hospital.

Appointments are for 89 days on a daily wage basis and give no right to permanent or regular appointment. Recruitment follows the prevailing policy and instructions of the Government of Punjab.

Selected candidates will be posted to the relevant hospital section or institution as required. They must perform the duties assigned to them by the administration according to the hospital's needs.

Staff must mark daily attendance on the hospital's biometric system. Wages are paid only on the basis of biometric attendance. Absence without leave is treated as absence, and continuous absence will lead to dismissal from service.

In case of a complaint or poor performance, an employee may be dismissed without notice. Wages are paid at the rate fixed by the government through the approved method, by cheque or bank account.

Eligibility

• The candidate must be healthy, and mentally and physically fit.

• Preference will be given to candidates with experience of cleaning work in a hospital.

• The age limit is 50 years.

• At the interview, candidates must present the following originals:

• No TA/DA will be paid for the interview or selection.

• If any information or document is found to be false at any stage, the application or appointment will be cancelled.

• The competent authority reserves the right to accept or reject any application and to decide all matters related to recruitment.
