About the role

The Military Lands and Cantonments Department, Ministry of Defence, Government of Pakistan, invites applications from eligible candidates to fill vacant posts in the Cantt Public Education System at Aminpur Campus, Gujranwala Cantt. The hiring is managed by the Education Directorate of the Military Lands and Cantonments Department, Rawalpindi. The posts are for Montessori Teachers, Senior Teachers in Computer Science and Mathematics, and a Physical Training Instructor (PTI).

Posts and vacancies

Eligibility

Montessori Teacher

• MA, MSc or BS. Candidates with a BA or BSc may also apply for backward areas.

• One-year Montessori diploma from a recognised institution (mandatory).

• IT skills in MS Office, PowerPoint and Excel (mandatory).

• Experience: 2 years of teaching at Montessori level.

• Age limit: 25 to 50 years.

Senior Teacher (Computer Science and Mathematics)

• MA, MSc or BS (16 years of education) in the relevant subject.

• MPhil or MS (18 years of education) preferred.

• B.Ed or M.Ed preferred.

• IT skills in MS Office, PowerPoint and Excel (mandatory).

• Experience in a reputed school or college.

• Age limit: 30 to 55 years.

Physical Training Instructor (PTI)

• Intermediate (12 years of education).

• Preferred: coaching courses from recognised institutions, experience as a departmental, provincial or district level coach or player, and physical training courses from a recognised institution.

• Coaching or playing experience.

• Age limit: 30 to 55 years.

Retired persons from the Armed Forces, Civil Armed Forces, Police and other departments with the requisite experience and qualification may also apply. The upper age limit will be calculated from the closing date of applications. Individuals previously terminated or disengaged from any position in the Cantt Public Education System need not apply.

• Only shortlisted candidates will be called for a written test and interview.

• No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the test or interview.
