Daanish University is a new national institution located in Islamabad. The Resident Auditor will provide independent pre-audit control over every payment from the Daanish University Fund. Before funds are released, the auditor will confirm that each payment is properly supported, falls within the approved budget and delegated financial powers, and complies with the University Act, Statutes, Regulations, Rules, and approved financial and procurement procedures.
Candidates must have a minimum of 18 years of education in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or Auditing; or hold CA-Inter, ACCA, CIA, or CMA-Inter.
A professional qualification such as CA-Inter, ACCA, CIA, or CMA-Inter is preferred. Training or certification in internal audit, public financial management, or taxation is also preferred.
Applicants must have at least five years of relevant experience in pre-audit, internal audit, or accounts, preferably in a university, trust, not-for-profit, or public-sector organization.
Required skills include knowledge of public-sector financial rules, delegation of financial powers, PPRA rules, and withholding taxes on payments. Candidates should be able to review payroll, contracts, procurement files, and supplier claims, and use ERP systems and MS Excel. Strong attention to detail and the highest standards of integrity are required.
