About the role

The Office of the Medical Superintendent, Tehsil Headquarters Hospital Sohawa, invites applications from residents of District Jhelum for sanitation and cleaning work at the hospital. The recruitment is for a period of 89 days. It is made purely on a temporary basis through the Health Council. It gives no right to permanent appointment or regular employment, and the appointment is not made against any sanctioned post.

Selected candidates will carry out the sanitation duties assigned by the hospital administration according to the hospital's needs. They will be posted to the relevant hospital or institution as required. Selected candidates must register on the hospital's biometric system and mark their attendance daily. Salary payment is linked to the biometric system, and any day without a biometric record will be treated as an absence. A candidate absent for two consecutive days will be dismissed. Any complaint or unsatisfactory performance will lead to dismissal without prior notice. Wages will be paid at the rate fixed by the government, only by crossed cheque or through a bank account.

Eligibility

• Candidates must be medically and physically fit.

• Candidates with experience of sanitation work in a hospital will be preferred.

• The maximum age is 50 years.

• Applicants must be residents of District Jhelum, hold its domicile and meet the prescribed criteria.

• Recruitment will follow the prevailing policy and instructions of the Government of Punjab.

Applications received after the due date will not be accepted. Incomplete applications will also be rejected. The selection committee may accept or reject any application under the rules and may make suitable decisions about the recruitment process. No TA/DA will be paid to candidates attending the interview or selection. An application or appointment will be cancelled at any stage if the information or documents provided are found to be false or fake.
