About the role
The Office of the Superintending Engineer, Communication & Works Department, Thatta at Makli, invites applications for initial recruitment to non-technical posts in BPS-01 to BPS-04. Eligible candidates must possess domicile of District Thatta. All posts are based at the Superintending Engineer's office in Makli, Thatta.

Eligibility
Applicants must hold domicile of District Thatta and meet the requirements for their chosen post. The upper age limit is subject to general relaxation of up to five years under Government of Sindh Notification No. SOII(SGA&CD)5.64/2011 (Part-II), dated 6 March 2025.
Applicable quotas for persons with disabilities, women, minorities and transgender persons will be observed under prevailing Government of Sindh policies, recruitment rules and approved quota or roster arrangements.
Candidates already serving in government departments must apply through the proper channel and provide the required departmental permission or No Objection Certificate, where applicable.
The nature and status of appointment will be governed by the sanctioned status of the posts, the applicable Sindh Civil Servants Act, rules and government instructions. Probation, confirmation and other service conditions will be regulated by the relevant rules.

Submit an application using the prescribed application form, accompanied by two recent passport-size photographs and attested copies of educational certificates, experience certificates where applicable, CNIC, domicile and PRC.
The application form includes fields for the post applied for, CNIC number, applicant's name, father's name, date of birth, educational qualifications, experience, district of domicile, postal address and mobile number. Sign and date the form and attach a recent passport-size photograph in the designated space.

Applications must reach the office within the prescribed closing period. Applications received after the closing date will not be entertained.
Only eligible, shortlisted candidates will be called for a test or interview, as applicable to the post and under the approved recruitment procedure. Shortlisting will be based on the prescribed eligibility criteria. No TA/DA will be admissible for attending a test or interview. The date, time and venue will be communicated to eligible candidates.
