Dr. Ruth K. M. Pfau, Civil Hospital Karachi, under the Government of Sindh Health Department, invites applications from eligible candidates domiciled in District South, Karachi, for initial recruitment to support staff posts. Eligibility
Applications are invited only from candidates holding a Karachi domicile, subject to the applicable recruitment policy and Government of Sindh rules. The recruitment invitation specifically requires domicile of District South, Karachi.
The age limit is 18 to 28 years. General relaxation in the upper age limit is admissible under the applicable government policy and notification in force. A general upper-age relaxation of five years is admissible under Government of Sindh Notification No. SOII(SGA&CD)5-64/2011 (Part-II), dated 6 March 2025, issued by the Services, General Administration and Coordination Department.
Quotas for women, minorities, persons with disabilities and transgender persons will be reserved according to the government rules and policy in force. Candidates must provide documentary proof wherever relevant experience, a licence, registration or a specific certificate is required.
Appointments will be made under the applicable provisions of the Sindh Civil Servants (Appointment, Promotion & Transfer) Rules, 1973, including any prescribed probation period. Appointment is subject to verification of credentials, medical fitness where required, character or police verification where applicable, and completion of all formalities prescribed under the rules.

Candidates already in government service must apply through the proper channel. Only eligible and shortlisted candidates will be called for a test or interview. Candidates must produce original documents when required. No TA/DA is admissible for attending the test or interview.
